Decent classes, took time to adjust

I tried the monthly subscription for the Mat Pilates Classes. The initial sign-up was fine, pretty straightforward. The classes themselves were a bit tougher than I expected, some of the instructors move pretty fast. It took me a couple of weeks to really get into the flow of things, especially with the Advanced Pilates Series. The platform worked well on my tablet, no glitches or anything. I also checked out a couple of the Healthy Eating Meal Plans, which were a nice bonus, even if I didn't follow them strictly. Overall, it's a solid platform if you're looking for different types of pilates at home.

Good quality, quick support

I signed up for the Unlimited Monthly Subscription after my free trial. The Live Stream Pilates Classes were easy to join from my laptop. I had a small issue with video buffering one evening, so I contacted support. They responded within a few hours and offered troubleshooting steps which fixed it right away. The instructors for the Reformer Pilates Workouts are clear and helpful, making the movements understandable. The variety of classes, even the Home Workout Programs without equipment, keeps things interesting. I found the website interface simple to navigate, letting me filter by class type easily. Delivery of the service, meaning access to classes, was instant after signing up. Overall, a good experience.

Easy to use platform

I got the Annual Membership. The On Demand Pilates Classes are great. No issues with streaming. Found the Mat Pilates Classes very challenging but good. Worth it.

Wondering if Pilates Project is really worth it compared to something like Alo Moves. Does it have enough variety to keep me from getting bored?

I Ivy 3 months ago
I've tried both! Pilates Project has a ton more actual Pilates (reformer, mat) if that's what you're primarily looking for. Alo is good but feels more 'yoga with Pilates elements' sometimes.

For variety, I think PP crushes it. They add new classes all the time and have different styles like barre and strength too. My subscription definitely feels worth it.

Hey, thinking about signing up for Pilates Project. Are their mat classes actually good for total beginners, or is it more for people who already know the basics?

R Ryan 2 months ago
Yeah, definitely good for beginners. They have specific series for people just starting out, and the instructors are super clear with the cues.

I started with their beginner mat series last year and it was perfect. You can filter by level which helps a lot. Plus, lots of equipment-free options if you don't have anything yet.
